A downloadable game for Windows

One stormy afternoon, Gioele decides to play a ritual japanese game, The Gathering of 100 Supernatural Tales. It's a relatively simple game to play, after all; it requires 100 candles, a lot of matches, and willing storytellers with a fervid imagination - telling 100 weird stories in a row is not an easy task! At the end of the last tale, something strange is bound to happen...

And what better storytellers than Felix, Noelia and Abele?

So, the game show you the last four tales. Strange, weird, supernatural stories... also, somewhat painful memories. They claim their stories are all true; will you believe them?

Maybe, inside this tales there is something more worrying than the possible ghost apparition at the end of the game...

Every thought flies it's an anthology of creepy tales using as a frame the japanese game Hyaku Monogatari Kaidankai.

It's not a really scary game, it's more like a cozy horror: small country towns, lakeside campsites... and maybe something darker from time to time. Told in a sometimes serious, sometimes more comedic undertone, it's the little adventure of four friends (well, almost friends) exploring their fears and scary memories.

The gameplay it's simple, but this isn't a walking simulator! There are a couple of puzzles and choices along the way. (There is a guide in the game's folder~.)

This is the first installment (or prologue) in my series The ash black cat, but it works perfectly as a standalone game, with its own endings.

Will you help Noelia, Felix, Gioele and Abele to reach the end of this ritual safe and sound?

🕯️ 4 different cozy horror tales

I hope you enjoyed Every thought flies! You can follow me on Instagram or Tumblr for news on my games; the first chapter of The ash black cat and the happy ogre is coming soon.  You can  support the game with a tip on Ko-fi (that would be really helpful), but also leaving a rating or comment here. I appreciate everything! See ya!

(One last thing: I'll add the italian version super soon!)

Thank you so much! Really happy you enjoyed it 🤩 the good end it's easy to get: [mini SPOILER] when the room gets dark at the end of the fourth tale, use the strange apple from the inventory. I think I need to change a little this point, you're not the only one who got the bad end. Sorry for the confusion 😭

ahh I see, thank you!

I discovered and followed your work on Instagram for several months and I'm happy to finally have been able to play one of your games!

I just finished Every Thought Flies and although I didn't get the good ending, I enjoyed the experience haha!

I specifically found that the narration and the construction of the game in mini-sequences were really great, we really get into the atmosphere of those stories. The maps are great, the game renews itself in its objectives and its ways of playing and I especially liked the riddle of the fourth story!

A little more doubtful of the good/bad ending system which is sometimes a bit rude. Since I was saving in the same slot throughout the game, I found myself stuck in a bad ending several times and to discover the rest of the game, I must have start all over again. Nothing terrible but still a little annoying!

I will continue to be attentive to your next productions and good luck for the future!

Hello! Sorry if it took me a while to answer! Finding your comment made me very happy, I really admire how you make maps (I want to try Luminatis soon! This year I barely had any time to play 😩).

The atmosphere was one of biggest element of this game, so it's nice to hear it worked well! ❤️

Oh no, I'm sorry for the bad endings! Usually I always save in different slots, so I made the endings with that in mind. The next time I'll try to think alternatives! (If you took the last bad end, you can easily see the other ending, anyway: just check your inventory).

The fourth riddle it's my favorite as well, I was trying to tell the story through the puzzle. It was a fun experiment!

Really, really thanks for your comment!

To the next time ⭐

Oh ok !

I'll look if I kept a save before the end then !

And thanks for luminatis haha, but I'm afraid you will not play this year either because the version online is a bit old (2018) and exist just in french so I don't recommend to play it and I don't plan to share other versions before I finish the entire game (and this will not happen before 2026 haha, I still have a lot to do). but thanks for the good comment, it's very motivating too!
